The DropDownMenu is a simple module that creates a drop down menu navigation. It lists all top nodes and their direct child nodes which means that any nodes beyond the second level of depth will be ignored.

Very nice menu.
Exactly what I was looking for.
I have a problem.
The child nodes don't obey the "View allowed" Authorization
Role. If I check not to view a particular child node
it always visible.I'm doing something wrong?

Maybe this module may help: http://cuyahogacontrib.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/cuyahogacontrib/Cuyahoga.Modules.Menu/branches/Nested%20List%20Render%20Fix/

It renders all nodes though, not just first child.
