Hello!

I´ve just installed the binary installation of cuyahoga cms, and followed the guide step by step. Im running the whole thing true VS and when im trying to acces http//localhost: port/Cuyahoga/manager/Dashboard
I get the HTTP 404 error, that the file was not found. I have no problem so view the default webpage, http://localhost: port/Cuyahoga/

I wonder if missing some files. This is the first time im trying a CMS so might just by a simple mistake somewhere

What is your hardware setup?

PC?
Operating System?
IIS Version?

Then we can take it from there... happy

Setting up is easy really. Put Cuyahoga in the root of an IIS instance (this is what I find best). Create a database and complete the '/config/properties.config' file information. If it is set up correctly you should end up at the installation screen.

Well im using a PC running windows server 2003 R2

I havent installed IIS, thought the running it through visual studios localhost server was fine. After completing the installations steps, I viewed the site from visual studio and the installation page came up, I ran through it, but at the last page after you have created an admin user, the URL there wasnt working.

It was supposed to take me to the admin page, but didnt.

Check the site url of the default site/created site.

Do you have MVC installed? Manager uses it on V2.0.

Also you may wish to try V1.6 to get an idea of Cuyahoga concepts. V2.0 is in alpha I believe.

Try using Cuyahoga on IIS or alternatively Cassini. Cassini would be quicker and easier than setting up IIS just to test Cuyahoga.
